用枪吓唬他可以吗？This is a dumb question, and it will pay dear price. Remeber, if you have to use weapon, you need call 911 at the sametime or at least afterwards. In some cases, even display a weapon can result in a jail sentence.

在公共场合，用各种防身器可以吗？This is even dumber.

Have been in US for almost 20years, I know a lot of mistakes oversea Chinese made on the weapons.

My advice:don't touch any weapon if you can avoid.
