petition questions

hi, i am 28 years old married in China. My father who is in the US just became a US citizen. can he file a petition for me to go to the US now? How many years do i have to wait? and can my hun*****and and 5 years old son go to the US with me together or i have to file another petition for my son and hun*****and when i get my greencard in the US? please
