The car is sold as is.  It can break down anytime.  Maybe one day or one year. Who knows. There is nothing to worry about.  The issue is whether you hided anything during the sale.  If they ask specific questions such as if the car was involved in an accident and you knowingly gave the incorrect answer, then they may have some some ground for the laysuit.
