Consult an attorney

I do not see any problems changing the title of the house from your hu*****and's sole ownership to a joint title, but you might need an attorney for the transfer of the title work, which is relatively easy and cheap.
If the house hasn't been paid off, make sure that your name is on the mortgage as well.
