老猫或其他懂法律的人士,这个问题无解吗?

这是以前Lease的条款
AUTOMATIC　ＲＥＮＥＷＡＬ　ＯＦ　ＬＥＡＳＥ： The residensy created under this Lease shall continue for a like term after its expiration, subject to same terms and conditions set forth herein. If the Managing Agent or the Resident decides not to renew this Lease, written notice of at least 90 days prior to the expiration date of the existing lease term, is required. If the Managing Agent mails a notice to the Resident of its intent to change the terms and conditions of this Lease, the Resident shall be conclusively deemed to have renewed said residency as stated in the written notice unless Resident gives to the contrary in writing, by Certified Mail-Return Receipt Requested, within ten (10) days, of the mailing of the Managing Agent's notice.
我最近的两个Lease，　其中一个是 1year term (10/1/2011-9/30/2012), 但后来在２０１２年四月他们又让我签了一份因为要把我女儿的名字加上,所以Lease term 是　5 months (5/1/2012-9/30/2012).在这之后没有签过lease.这可能是他们工作的疏忽或真像他们所说如果lease 没有改变,就不用再签.
