I actually want her to stay in the private school. Everyone there including the staff, teachers, and her classmates are very nice to her. They are ok with the B1/2 visa, but I don't know what is going to happen if she has no status.

The American citizens have their adopted children to citizens rightaway when they landed on US. Do I have to wait for two years?
