传真终止合同有效吗?

如果合同里有以下条款, 而我以传真的方式通知对方终止合同有效吗? 我用的是合同上的传真号码. 谢谢!

"To cancel this transaction, mail, or deliver a signed and dated copy of this cancellation notice or any other written notice, or send a telegram, to (the company address)."
