It is definitely a good idea to talk to insurance company to und

what the charges are, what is covered and why not cover certain procedures.  Normally, insurance company will send an EOB (explanation of bill?). Read it to see if the charges are what being done.  If not understand the charge, either Google or ask insurance company for explanation.
