People can say whatever they want?  Of course, the company can sue them.  Then, should the company have to prove what was said not true? 

As to a website hosting it, aren't you immuned of whatever said on your site?  What liability a newspaper has for whatever printed?  I would assume they have certain immunity?

Of course, I am not a lawyer and have no idea what is legal and what is not.
