不请律师-自己申请专利(7): 再答关于费用的问题

有朋友对“不请律师-自己申请专利(6)”提出问题:

你所列出的ABC每项费用都要缴纳吗？还是在ABC各项里只选一项就可以了？

爱恨专利的答复:

只选一项. For example, if you want to file a non-provisional utility patent application on paper, the minimum fee would be the basic fee plus the search fee plus the examination fee. Assuming that you are a small entity (i.e. not an industry giant), the fee would be 165 + 270 + 110 = 545 (USD). Please be aware that the patent office may charge you extra fees if your application size is too big and/or you have too many claims.
