You are responsible for your actions and you will be penalized. Hire a good lawyer and argue for lighter penalty on the basis that you got insult first and got mad and out of control. You lawyer may advise you to admit wrongdong and regret.
The nationality is not relevant. The other party could be a He Nan person, or a Chines girl that dislikes Chinese men.
