單身老貓: Please help

My small car was totaled by a big SUV. The SUV driver got a citation from the police. She is later 30s. The SUV's owner is her dad. They don't have an auto insurance. My insurance only have a liability coverage. I try to take the case to a civil court. My question is should I sue the driver or the owner or both?

The driver and I live in Texas and the accident happened in Texas too.
