Wage garnishment is common practice to collect judgement, even small claims court judgement. Court will not initiate such action. It's the winning party's own decision.

As I pointed out, it's not easy to do wage garnishment in another state. So why is this scary?

BTW, the credit score is not just gonna dropping a few points. It can be a couple hundred points. Maybe that's scary.
