请帮看看一个和dish network agent 的合同纠纷

先谢谢大家。事情是这样的，去年9月我在一个dishnetwork的agent那里定了2年的服务。合同里规定他要给我$500的grocery voucher. 如果我在不到2年就取消服务，除了要付dishnetwork early termination fee外，还要付agent$300.

英文原文如下：
...Customer will also receive a $500 grocery voucher..（合同没有写明他什么时候给我,虽然他口头答应每月寄给我$25,持续寄25月.合同也没有提及如果我提早取消合同他就不给我）

If your programming is disconnected for any reason, either voluntary or involuntary, before the expiration of 24 consecutive months from the date of activation, you agree to pay a cancellation fee of $300 to agent, this is to cover the cost of installation, equipment restocking fees, and all other administrative fees.

从签合同到现在，我一直向agent要$500的grocery voucher，他一直没有给我，我一气之下cancell了服务。取消合同之后，我搞定了dishnetwork的termination fee. 而现在这个agent通过collection company向我发来$300账单, 请大家帮我看看该怎么和collection公司谈？

我想到的两种谈法，1. 他一直没有给我合同规定的$500,是他首先破坏合同，所以合同应该不算数了。
2. 我承认我欠他$300,但他欠我$500，所以我不应该还他钱，他应该还我$200。
