Please help on First-time home buyer credut.

I am on the processes to purchase a home and the deal is supposed to be closed at the end of March. However, there are still tenants in the house and the lease (between the seller and the tenants) will not be terminated until the end of May.

My question is: whether I am still qualified for the $8000 tax credit or disqualified because of the 2-month rental situation?
