Could you provide me with your advice

I am a Canadian citizen living in Toronto and married a US citizen in Dec. 2007 in Michigan. My hu*****and has been living with me in Toronto since March 2008. Recently, I have found that he has been cheating on me badly. Since virtually all his proterty (CD, stocks, etc, but no real estate) is in the US, I want to seek your advice on where I should file for divorce so that it is still possible that I can get some (or half) of his property.
