“Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be)于 1955 年首次出版。 多丽丝·戴 (Doris Day) 在阿尔弗雷德·希区柯克 (Alfred Hitchcock) 的电影《知道太多的人》(1956) 中介绍了这首歌，演唱这这首歌是为了暗示他们在银幕上被绑架的儿子。 首歌的三节经文贯穿了叙述者的一生——从童年，到成年初期，坠入爱河，再到为人父母——每一节都在问“我会成为什么样的人？” 或“前面有什么？” 副歌重复着这个答案：
