I had to do extra ultrasounds in the last 3 month bc I was 'high risk preg.'. In wk 36, it showed that baby was in 20-50% growth range, normal. However, due to my low placenta position, I had to do another in wk 38.

I still remember that day, I went to hospital with my hu*****and to do my 38 wk ultrasound on the way to our work place. I was thinking it was just for checking the position of placenta.

The ultrasound showed that not only my placenta was still low but my baby dropped to 1-5% growth range. Doc told me that baby did not grow in the last 2 wks and thus asked me to do emergency C-sec. immediately. (Slowed growth might be caused by low function of placenta).

Luckily, I had my labour bag in back of car all the time since wk 34.

I had a healthy baby that day, small (2.75kg) but healthy.

I dont know if it is worth to wait another 2 weeks. In my case, I think the baby's health should be priority.
