Sure, they sent us a statement,

saying how much the hospital charged, and how much the insurance company agreed to pay, but on the statement it says we may get a bill around $1850 from the hospital, that includes the money my insurance company didn't agree to pay. Me and my hu*****and were thinking that since the insurance believes that hospital overcharged, we will not get that much bill from the hospital, but we DID. Hospital still billed us without any shame.
What my hu*****and said? He called the billing department of the hospital and told them that they overcharged us for the ambulance of my son, and the reason they overcharged is because they have those people without insurance to go to hospital and they don't pay, and they have those illegal immigrants go to hospital without paying a penny. Then the hospital tries to bill those costs to people have insurance. He works hard to pay tax, to pay insurance fee, he feels sick to pay any extra money to people taking advantage of the system.
Agree or not, people in the billing department dropped our payment from $1850 to $172, and the funny ending was they asked my angry hu*****and" are you happy with that now, sir? That gave us a good laugh~!
