To be on the safe side, let your OB know what you feel like. If your belly tightens up, it is possible that you are having false contractions (the so called Braxton-Hicks contractions). This kind of contractions usually shows up after 20 weeks of pregnancy and is more felt in evenings. I suggest whenever you feel your belly is tightening up, take a break, drink plenty of water. It is not a cause for concern, but since your pregnancy is still at an early stage (before the third trimester), it is worthwhile to be cautious. Too many false contractions in one hour might be a sign for preterm labor during later stages of pregnancy. Take care.
