小闲的第一封家书

前两天给家里写了封信，汇报近况。小闲也给国内的表哥写了一封：

Dear Cousin,

We had a hurricane. The power went out. It was cold and dark. But we still had hot water. When the power came back last Sunday, it was back to normal. But our phones, TV and internet still doesn’t work.

On Tuesday it was Election Day. To have fun we pretend to vote at school. Mitt Romenny won in school. Barock Obama won the real vote.

On Wednesday it snowed! It haven’t snowed since January. But today it all melted away.

Our family is planning to go back to China on Chinese New Year. Hope to see you in Chang Sha.
