Today both kids would start their new swimming class for the summer. As usual, my daughter was having first-time anxiety and was whining about having to go swimming. Her little brother, forever wanting to follow his big sis, also loudly protested of having to go swimming.
"I want to quit swimming." he said.
Daddy jokingly responded, "I want to quit being a Daddy.".
"No, you cannot quit." he said.
"Why not?" Daddy asked.
"Because you chose to be a daddy" was the come back from my 5 year old boy!
