Every time we are done swimming at the gym with the kids, one of things they always ask is whether they can get a candy bar from the vending machine. And we have never indulged their request for apparent reasons.
Yesterday was the same. It was my 4 year old son this time clinging to the vending machine. My hu*****and told him that he did not have money with him, making an excuse.
"What about Mommy?" my son was not giving up.
"Mommy does not have money either." my hu*****and replied.
"I know I should have brought my piggy bank." my son said..
