One day about a year ago, as I recall, my then-6 year old daughter was talking about her day in school. One of the things she recounted was that a higher grade boy chased her and her friends. Let's call the boy Sean.
To our surprise, my son said with strong conviction, "When I am older and in kindergarten, I am going to chase away Sean." I am almost sure that he also raised his arms and tried to show some muscles :-)
I asked, "Why?"
He said, "To protect my sister."
How cute is that!
Then just yesterday on our way home, my daughter was telling us about her day in school. Somewhere in the conversation, the word "chase" was used. And that triggered my son's memory, and he said again, "When I am in first grade, I am going to chase Sean to protect you!"
These are the moments money cannot buy!
