I don't want my daughter miss any of her friends' birthday parties, kids love it. Parents don't have to stay if you don't want to. As for gift? Girls like princess dolls or Tinkle bell stuff. Let your daughter go and be familiar with her new friends, it will be good for her. No pressure, just kids having fun.
