I blogged before about the heart-felt note and hand-made card from my daughter and felt that I should share something from my little boy as well.
He is not yet as artistic as his big sister is. However, what he has expressed in his own way through the two cards below is no less.
The two cards were made a week apart on Sundays. Completely spantaneous on his part. After the first card to Daddy, he said he would make one for Mommy the next Sunday, which he did. He also said he would make a third one for his sister. I have asked him about it, and he always says next Sunday, but I know that his attention span has reached its limit for a 4 year old :-).
Here they are. Not very pretty, but it's the thought that counts, isn't it? The first one is to Daddy. He and Daddy are walking on a railway track behind an engine. There are also lots of hearts.
The second one is to Mommy. The theme here is boat with lots of hearts.
