Car seat use in China

We are going to China in April this year.  My baby will be around 1 year... Just wonder if any of you have traveled there with your baby?  Did you bring a car seat to use or if the taxi there will even let you use your car seat?  How about on the plane?  Any suggestions would be helpful!
