I waited six months to feed solid to my older one since she wasn't very interested in eating, oh well, what a different story for my second one, she was a big eater and so interested at the food we were eating when she was 4.5 months and that was when I introduced solid to her, there was no way she could wait for one more month, she enjoyed every kind of solid food including some of the yucky smelly can food. I think your baby will be ready in about a month or so.
