you may buy some colorful books with less words at the

baby's early age, such as My frist board book series. (my first Borad book of numbers, ABC, word book, colors and shapes, etc.) you may loan books from your local library later on. My son enjoys reading a lot now, and he always reads himself in his room for 2 hours after coming back from library.
