Rice University 和 Baylor College of Medicine 合并是win-win

这几天紫檀讨论大米，

Rice University 和 Baylor College of Medicine 合并是win-win, 两个大学在隔壁。Baylor College of Medicine 在Texas Medical Center (全世界最大医疗中心） 的中心地带。 可惜了，最后董事会投票没过。 Baylor 医学院每年拿到NIH许多grant. 对于Rice是很大提升。  听说2008年金融危机时，baylor 医学院因为投资建医院，财政紧，所以Rice担心会影响自己的财务。 真是目光短浅。

Baylor College of Medicine (2018年 US news research 排名17），是德州最好的医学院。 成立于1900年。

最近好像Baylor 停办了和大米的本医（BS-MD）连读。
