Household cleaning

My house gets one layer of dust every day.  So cleaning is a constant task.  I have to clean the dust once every two days, and every week i have to try to clean hard-to-reach areas.  Even so, I see dirty surfaces.

And my child and I already change shoes when we come into the house.

Is this the same for everyone?
