I totally understand your feeling. I have the same issue too. My four years old boy is much closer to his father even though we divorced when he was only one year old. My son spent most of the time with me, but he does not bond to me because I am always the one who displines him and his father is always the super nice Daddy to him every time he visits him. It is very pitiful in this way. But I tell myself that I do my part and try to be a good mother, the rest is beyound my control. So just let it go.
