1. "The once-held view that blue eye color is a simple recessive trait has been shown to be wrong.". my understanding (correct me if i'm wrong) is that a simple recessive trait mean if one has blue eye color gene, EYCL1, then if it's mixed with EYCL2 or EYCL3, then it will be recessive and not shown. it is wrong as we know a Bb (brown eyed) + a bb (a blue eyed) might produce a bb (blue eyed) baby.

2. it does not prove that it is wrong to say that Brown eye is dominant trait. Brown eye is dominant - it's still a proven fact. my point: BB + bb CANNOT produce bb, still holds ground.
