i personally think fanfan falls into the category you described: "矛盾, 浅薄, 虚荣, 心地是比较善良的，也是知恩图报的人."

She is not a bad person (my opinion), but "她的一些痛苦和挣扎" made her write those controversial posts - i believe due to the 痛苦和挣扎, she needs a fantasy world.
