some update about the divorce

问过法制坛了，好像这里的姐妹比较热心，而且很多人都是过来人。会比较有HAND-ON Experience

7 yrs marriage, they are in CA now. Wife is still working，but salary is
below average. There is not too many job opening for her in the city that
she is currently living in.

She can not move back to the state that she originally came from because
of the kid. (the hu*****and won't let them move)

Even though the hu*****and wants a quick divorce but he is not willing to pay the support at all. Even when the court made the order, he is still not paying. The lawyer already filed the motion and the child support would be deducted from his salary directly soon.

The hu*****and told the wife that he would not pay and he would fight with the wife until she ran out of her saving. The hu*****and that he rule the marriage/divorce and he would be the final winner.

If they have no kid, the wife won't mind that he does not pay the support. but they have kid and the wife does not have much saving, she is hopping that she would get some alimony for a few years so that she does not have to ask her kid quit the private school right away.
