To 89 MM: Have You Met Any Excellent Chinese Men I know?

Thanks for sharing such a beautiful and heart-breaking story. Even a man like me wants to see that your sister has a happy ending.
As you can see from my id, I am a Chinese man, happily married to an excellent Chinese woman, living in North America with two beautiful and intelligent girls. I have many Chinese friends, all of them having happy family life. Sometime the life may appear boring to other people, as every waking hour is spent on career and children.
I grew up in central China, the self-claimed heartland of Chinese culture. Later I had college education at Beijing University. I sincerely feel that my neighbors and my classmates are excellent people. So many of my classmates, man and woman, I believe, have first-time intimate relationship with their spouse, and committed to their family ever since. Of course, I am not a nosy person, and I have no interest in knowing whether that "first time" happens before or after the wedding ceremony. But I believe my judgment on whether someone is "strict" or "casual." Their stable marriages in America and China after so many years add strong prove to my perception. That is why I am very proud of Chinese culture and Chinese people.
In my opinion, it may be difficult to find a tall, handsome, and romantic Chinese men, compared to the high standards set by American men. But faithful, responsible, and hard working Chinese men are everywhere, in China and in America. Is it possible that some Chinese-born women in America want the best of two cultures, and end up with nothing?
