my point of view

i think generally speaking, chinese people are Shi4 Li4. They like success - power, money. the general social concept of 'success' is power and money, and most people put this ABOVE basic morality.

so until one day, people realize a person has to be a morally lofty person FIRST before he/she is considered successful and gets respected, then people's worshipping money and power will be changed.
