基本上找不出他大的缺点?

I have a friend whose BF broke up with her and she still lingered on the relationship for years. What she kept telling me was that the guy was perfect and wonderful. What I had to remind her all the time was that YES BUT the perfect guy didn't love her anymore. So it doesn't matter if he is a perfect person or not.

She always had the hope that one day he would come back to her which never happened and she is still single. It's sad that she doesn't want to wake up from her thoughts. I bet she knows the truth but doesn't want to face it upfront.

This may not be a good implication for your case. All I'm trying to say is to believe what you see/feel, not what you hope or wish.
