very different from Chinese when it comes to relationship. If a man were serious about a woman, he would include her in his social circle as soon as he can. I read about that in the CNN too. You can ask him how does he think of the relationship directly. If your goal is to settle down, please don't waste too much of your time in a going nowhere relationship.
