The bridal industry starts preying on young girls as early as 5 and tries everything to build up their expectation of a storybook wedding gown. It just amazes me how early young girls start getting brainwashed. Last time, when I was in a grocery store, I saw a ten-year-old put a magazine called "Elegant Brides" in her cart. Isn't that too early for that ?!!

Definitely let your daughter read it. By the time she is read for a gown, she won't fall for those tricks like I did.

As for my size, well, that is not going to last forever... I'll be amazed if I can put my arms in the dress at my Tenth Anniversary. LOL.
