Sharon Stone's "bad Karma"
The WXC news said Sharon Stone said sorry.
What Stone really said is: "They[refering a Tibetian foundation] wanted to go and be helpful, and that made me cry. It was a big lesson to me that sometimes you have to learn to put your head down and be of service even to people who aren't nice to you."
Since when we chinese in general and victims of Sichuan Earthquake in specific are not nice to her? From this paragraph, anyone who has managed to get the idea that Sharon Stone has said sorry to the Chinese is purely from imagination (with good or bad intentions). The only reading I can get is that she stays as a speaker for what she believes and make a free advertisement for the Tibetian separists. Indeed, her speech implies that the Tibetain Foundation represents people who are humane and caring about the people suffered in this earthquake, which in fact they are not (to be cynical, how on earth can we know that the money they were/are soliciting will be used for earthquake relief?). My conclusion about them is based on the earlier reports of what had happened in German and Britain when Dalai Larma visited there after the earthquake. For one thing, there were no services to show any condolence to the earthquake victims during his public lectures.
One thing I surely know, from now on, no movies Sharon Stone involves in and no products she speaks for will ever stand any chance to get near my home.
(Feeling had eaten a fly, can help wanting to speak out)
