科普一下美国麻州领失业保险金的过程 （我还没收到一个子儿）

要够格申请， 你要满足很多条件 （狗来的）：

Unemployment Benefits for Claimants. If you've lost your job or have had your hours greatly reduced, you may qualify for unemployment benefits. If you're out of work and able to work, you may be eligible for temporary income called unemployment insurance (UI).

Are You Eligible for Unemployment in Massachusetts?

The Massachusetts Department of Unemployment Assistance (DUA) handles unemployment compensation and decides whether claimants are eligible for benefits. You must meet the following three eligibility requirements to collect unemployment benefits in Massachusetts:

• You must be unemployed through no fault of your own, as defined by Massachusetts law.
• You must have earned at least a minimum amount in wages before you were unemployed.
• You must be able and available to work, and you must be actively seeking employment.

 

If you are eligible to receive unemployment benefits, you will receive a weekly benefit amount of approximately 50% of your average weekly wage, up to the maximum set by law. As of October 2018, the maximum weekly benefit amount is $795 per week.

所以， 申请人要提供公司给的文件和自己的签名，网上 送上材料后， 你还得网上或人去当地的 career center注册。

要参加他们安排的活动， 比如如何找工作啦？ 如何写简历啦？ 修改简历啦？ 帮面试准备啦。。。

反正就是N多的活动， 不让你闲着等钱。

每周， 你还得有很详细的log， 很详细的问题， 要回答的 （上周你有没有去过工作？有没有收到钱？。。。）每周还得交代汇报你为找工作干过啥了， 要提供公司， 联系人， 电话或电邮。。。的信息， 就是为了政府部门可以抽查。

假如你吹牛被查出， 那好像就是犯法事件了。

 

就是上面你全做的好好的， 你的钱也未必能立马拿到。。。反正， 我已经专门去问了， 都5周多了， 还一个子儿都没见呢。。。

 

来美的第一次申请， 就是感觉我拿个该拿的钱都很-不---爽！！！
