I'm pretty sure my kid would be the one who stands up for

his friend, because that's what we believe :"one for all, all for one". He will do it not just for his friend, simply it's the right thing to do.

I would not judge any actions my adult child took unless he intentionally hurt someone, one way or another, because he is an adult, he'll be responsible for any actions he takes.
