the guys she had in the past. Her choices are in the future.

I bet many other girls would have gone with the JP man. But she didn't. That's a clue that she isn't like many other girls. She is still young. And especially in the U.S., age isn't that big of an issue. Many people found their happiness at much older ages. That include many JMs here. She will find hers, too.
