Salary $40M/year, shcoking!

Have to say, I am really shocked after reading "$40M/year" appearing in some one's post. From my view, in London, a senior investment banker's annual salary + bonus before tax is between 500,000 pounds ($1M) up to 3M pounds ($6M). I think that's the highest employment income in the world. My partner is a partner in a top 5 UK financial law firm. Once I asked him who gets paid most in his company and how much. his answer is 2M pounds ($4M) according to his annual partnership share distribution sheet.

Today, I feel i am the ant who see the "sea" but it's a pool. Just curious what kind of job can make u earn $40M/year. Maybe I should work my way to that direction. even 1/10 of it is good enough for me.
