I met my hubby six years ago online and we have been married for five years now. He is 18 years older than me. He adores me and understands me. We are very happy together.
He lived a normal middle-class life before we met. Then his industry got hit pretty bad after 911 and he lost his job. He tried to start his own business but lost all his savings due to inexperience. He finally got back to his field but worked as a contractor in several places for about half a year. I felt that our marriage got even stronger after we were apart most of the time during this period. He finally landed a good-paying job as a formal employee this past March and I relocated with him to the west coast where the living expenses are much higher than our home state.Right before Thansgiving, he lost his job again and is back on the job market now.I think he is quite capable but many people may not perceive him to be easy to get along with and he doesn't play politics very well.I think that might be the reason that he was among the first few to be let go every time there is a laid-off.
How would you deal with situation like this? Is it normal to doubt your loved one when things like this happened more than once?
