Would you like your daughter to marry into a gentry's family?

In the last few years, words like "gentry" and "noble" have appeared in China's newspapers and magazines more and more often. And some people enjoy claiming that they are the descents of the gentry's families, regardless if that is the fact. I find that quite entertaining, I remember thirty some years ago, I often got an assignments from school, which was to asked the parents to tell the miserable stories "before liberation". I remember I made up those sad stories many times and told them to my elementary school classmates. They really enjoyed my stories, and hated those rich landlords who were so mean to my parents. I guess my classmates have never figured out the stories that I told them were modified from the children抯 picture books.

I think that I have gone too far from my topic. Will my daughter be able to or willing to marry into a European gentry's family? I think if I even dear to ask her such question, her would yell to me 揗om, why are you so shallow? I will only marry to the one whom I love
