My two cents!

I moved in to my BF's apt after dating for one year. But I still keep renting my apt. It works with me cuz I need some time and space for myself once a while! It has been like this for over 2 years! We are both fine with it!

In your case, it depends on how comfortable and confident you are with your relationship. If I were you, I would be OK with his moving in while I would ask him to keep renting his apt. It would be a different story if you were engaged. I guess everybody is different.
