I pay effectively 49% (average tax rate, including state tax).

With no education/healthcare beneifts, with almost no retirement benefits.

Tell me which country can beat that.

And I don't make as much as 08 does, and no perks as 08.

Curious how can I acheive that? Look at tax rates.

And make a note, that all my income is through payroll.
