In my opinion . . .

Marriage counciling is waste time and money.  Marriage is such a private and intimate matter that only you and your significant other can truly know and understand each other.  Other people (marriage councilor, family, friend, etc) can only give you what THEY think is the right thing to do.  But that might not be what YOU think is the right thing to do.   Just like wearing a pair of shoes, only you will know whether the shoes are perfect fit, nobody else would know.
